🚀 The Sunday Batchers Club: 60+ Creators, Countless Insights, and Zero Excuses

How Our First-Ever Content Batching Session Turned Sunday Stress Into Sunday Success

In partnership with

Turns out if you want to make a custom domain for your newsletter you should do it a few days before it goes out or none of the links work… so if you were looking for the link to this weeks The Sunday Batchers Club the one below should work 🙂 (if you read this week’s send, nothing has changed other than the links)

Remember when I casually mentioned launching a Sunday content batching session and secretly hoped maybe 5 people would show up? Well, plot twist: 62 creators RSVP’s to join us for our inaugural Sunday Batchers Club! 🤯

What started as my personal accountability hack (because let's be real, I forgot to batch my content the week before) turned into something way bigger than I imagined & honestly the energy was incredible.

Here's what went down during our first 2-hour session: (It was scheduled for 1 hour but we just kept yapping!)

The Magic of Collective Focus There's something powerful about knowing other creators are grinding alongside you, even through a screen. We kicked off with everyone sharing their top 3 content goals for the session in the comments (mine were: write my newsletter, plan my week’s 5 post themes for LinkedIn, and draft Monday/Tuesday content). Then we dove into focused work time with optional check-ins for questions.

Real Talk About AI and Content Creation One of the biggest discussions centered around using AI effectively. Here's the consensus: AI should get you about 80% there, but YOU are the remaining 20% that makes it authentic. The secret sauce? Training your AI on YOUR voice and content, not just copying and pasting generic outputs.

Pro tip from the session: If you can read a post and anyone else could have written it, it's not good enough. Same goes for branded content - if the post could be about any other brand, back to the drawing board!

Tools That Actually Matter We got into the nitty-gritty of budgeting for content creation. The reality check? You'll need to invest some money if you want to make money, but start small and build up. Don't go into debt for content creation, but be prepared for subscription costs (they can add up fast!)

The crowd favorites: Claude for writing (because it doesn't train on your data), ChatGPT for image generation and memory features, Canva for templates, and surprisingly, good audio matters more than perfect video quality, so invest in mics before a new camera if you have to choose!

Visual Content Without the Overwhelm Struggling with visuals? The solution is simpler than you think: templatize everything. Create a few solid templates in your brand colors, then customize them for different content types. One carousel template can become multiple individual posts, quote cards, or list posts. Work smarter, not harder!

The Power of Content Pillars Instead of starting from scratch every time, establish 3-5 core content themes that align with your expertise. Every piece of content should fit into one of these pillars. And here's permission to pivot: audit your pillars quarterly and change them if they're not serving you anymore.

Community Over Competition What struck me most was how everyone supported each other. People shared tools, offered tips, and genuinely wanted to help fellow creators succeed. That's the kind of energy we're building here.

The Numbers Don't Lie By the end of our session, creators had drafted newsletters, planned post calendars, created video scripts, and built content templates. But more importantly, they felt less alone in the content creation journey and more accountable to their goals.

What's Next? Based on your feedback, we're making the Sunday sessions at 2 hours (perfect for deep work) and potentially adding weekday lunch sessions for parents and those with weekend commitments. We're also exploring rotating hosts for when I'm traveling, because this community shouldn't depend on just me! (& I have a lot of travel coming up 🙌)

The best part? This was just our tech run to figure out what we're doing. Next week will be even better (and I promise I'll remember to set up auto-admit for the meeting room 😅… or well my husband will because he’s in charge of event tech)

If you missed this one but want in on the action, the Sunday Batchers Club is exactly what you need. Come for the accountability, stay for the community, and leave with actual completed content.
